The Woodbourne Crew Opens a Hot Dog Stand of Their Own
The guys at Woodbourne now run their very own hot dog stand, and they are ready to serve. The Woodbourne Crew was at the center of the project from the start, and Hudson Regional RN Consultant Dawn Blades, her son Jarrid Blades, and Hudson Regional CEO Angelo Angerame were glad to lend a hand along the way, including making sure the Crew had all the correct permits to operate legally.
The Crew Behind the Stand
This project belongs to the Woodbourne Crew. It started with a great idea and came together with plenty of teamwork, with the guys at the center of every step. It is exactly the kind of project the Hudson Regional team loves being part of.
Getting Every Permit in Place
Running a food stand the right way means getting the right paperwork. Dawn, Jarrid, and Angelo helped the Crew secure all of the permits they needed to operate legally, so the stand could open on solid footing. At Hudson, we love every second of being able to work with the amazing people in our community, and this was a perfect example.
A Thank You From The Arc Greater Hudson Valley
On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, The Arc Greater Hudson Valley held its Annual Meeting and Awards Reception at Winding Hills Country Club in Montgomery. As a thank you for their part in the project, The Arc presented Luminary Awards to Dawn, Jarrid, and Angelo. The recognition was a cherry on top of a project that was already its own reward. Congratulations as well to Andrew Kessler, this year's Starlighter Award recipient, and thank you to The Arc Greater Hudson Valley, which supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Sullivan, Orange, and Dutchess counties.
