Greystone Programs began in 1979 as the first community-based provider for individuals with autism in New York State, and a grant from the One to One Foundation, started by Geraldo Rivera, helped get it off the ground. This year, Greystone's largest fundraiser, the 34th Annual Wine Tasting & Auctions, will honor Geraldo Rivera himself. A 1979 Beginning

Greystone Programs got its start in 1979 as the first community-based provider for individuals with autism in New York State. A grant from the One to One Foundation, which Geraldo Rivera started, helped the organization get off the ground.

Greystone Programs Today

Today, Greystone serves several hundred children, adults, and families across the Mid-Hudson Valley. From its home base in Hopewell Junction, the organization offers residential, day, employment, and expressive arts programs.

Honoring Geraldo Rivera

Honoring Geraldo Rivera at this year's Wine Tasting & Auctions is a fitting way to mark the connection between his early support and the organization it helped Greystone become.

Hudson Regional CEO Angelo Angerame crossed paths with Geraldo earlier this summer at Life's WORC's golf classic, where the two talked about the foundation's early role in Greystone's history.
