Life's WORC held its 38th Annual Geraldo Rivera Golf Classic on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Pine Hollow Country Club in East Norwich. This year's outing honored Zaki Hossain for his decades of philanthropic work across Long Island. Hudson Regional LTC Pharmacy was proud to be there for a day of great weather, a full course, and a room full of people who care about supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

The Geraldo Rivera Golf Classic is Life's WORC's annual golf outing. The 2026 event marked its 38th year and brought supporters together at Pine Hollow Country Club in East Norwich.

Who was honored at the 2026 Geraldo Rivera Golf Classic?

This year's honoree was Zaki Hossain, recognized for decades of philanthropy across Long Island. His giving has reached many corners of the community, including:

• Health care: funding hypertension and diabetes care at Nassau University Medical Center.
• Hunger relief: supporting Island Harvest's efforts to fight hunger.
• Workforce development: backing workforce development programs at Molloy University.

Honoring someone whose generosity spans health, food security, and education fit the spirit of the day: communities are stronger when people show up for one another.

What does Life's WORC do?

Life's WORC has spent 38 years building a legacy of support for people with developmental disabilities across Long Island. That long history was easy to see at Pine Hollow, where the turnout reflected how many people believe in the organization's work.

What was the day like?

In a word, full. The weather cooperated, the course was packed, and the room was filled with people who care about the same things we do. Events like this remind us that the I/DD community on Long Island is supported by a wide network of families, professionals, sponsors, and neighbors.

Why does Hudson Regional support community events?

Hudson Regional LTC Pharmacy serves agencies that support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and being present at community events is part of how we show up for them. With our sister pharmacy, Kinexion LTC Pharmacy, now serving the Long Island ID/DD community from Port Jefferson Station, events like the Geraldo Rivera Golf Classic feel closer to home than ever.
