Every year, the holiday season brings a familiar sense of fun to our community, and one of the traditions that residents and staff look forward to most is the Hudson Regional LTC Pharmacy Ugly Sweater Contest. The contest is open for the 2025 season, and we are already seeing the creativity start to take shape.

Last year’s winning house set the bar high with a design that combined humor, teamwork, and festive energy in a way that captured exactly what makes this tradition so memorable. Their win earned them a Pizza Party hosted by CEO Angelo Angerame, a prize that will once again be awarded to this year’s champions. With each passing year, the sweaters become more imaginative and more collaborative, and that spirit is what continues to make this contest such a beloved annual event.

Entering the contest is simple, and homes are encouraged to start early so they have time to bring their ideas to life. Photos can be submitted to Angelo Angerame, and all entries must be sent in by December 10. The winning home will be featured in the December & January newsletters and celebrated for its creativity.

The contest serves as more than a fun holiday activity. It helps bring teams together, encourages residents to participate in something joyful, and creates shared memories that staff and residents carry with them long after the season ends. Each sweater tells a story. Each entry reflects the spirit of community that is central to the work our partners do every day.
